2021 Living Dead Weekend
2021 Living Dead Weekend
As the sun set the Dead came arising
The Great Divide Zombies returned from their graves created by the hands of Lynn Weinberg and Julie Falkena. A modified version of our zombie scare saw an hour, for those brave enough, to walk around the lake as the living dead were hidden around to scare. As the band started the living dead met with the living dead-heads for some photos. Once the selfies were done and the crowd was scared the horde swarmed the campground and frightened anyone innocently hiding at their sites.
While the walking dead made the woods howl with terrified people…
Diamond Eye Jack had the lawn howling with screams of joy. A gorgeous Friday evening of nearly the Dead themselves was a blessing to experience! The lawn was loaded with all types of walking Dead-Heads. Thank you to Lynn and Julie for the wonderful makeup as always. As well thank you to Diamond Eye Jack for an amazing Friday kick off to LIVING DEAD Weekend.
After a hard Friday of dancing Saturday saw a slow start
There were not too many people at Archery and Sling Shot, mostly still resting around the fire. However, once Zombie Laser Tag began kids came crawling from the trees to blast each other for hours. Next, The Grateful Girls began a beautiful afternoon matinee that brought the adults flooding to the lawn. Perfect weather was matched with perfect tunes rolling out from the wonderful duo! Once the sun went down the Haunted Barn was open to view before it came to full life for the rest of the season
A collection of great scares segwayed into an astounding evening of GRATE music from This Old Engine
An incredible lightshow put on by Kevin displayed an equally incredible band in great fashion. The lawn was billowing with happy campers and happy dancers all night as this breathtaking band rocked out the weekend in style
Thank you to all the musical talent we were blessed to experience this weekend as well as the amazing lightshow Kevin put on and to all the campers we were happy to host!
