2021 Uptown Girls, Mothers Day Weekend

Uptown Girls, Mothers Day Weekend
The weekend started similar to the previous one, cold with a forecast of rain. One bright side to this Friday however was the presence of campfires. With the warmth of fire and propane Jazmyn Adelle & Company warmed the hearts and ears of a hooked crowd. Despite the cool spring evening bringing out layers of jackets and bundles of wood to be burned for fuel, a weekend to celebrate Mom was kicked off to the perfect start by a wonderful Duo who brought a wide range of songs that spoke to everyone on hand.
Saturday had us dancing around raindrops and praying for a clear evening.
Not the ideal Saturday weather to celebrate Mom but luckily after a few passing storms the sky cleared up for a passionate performance by We May Be Right – A Billy Joel Tribute. It was great to hear the whole crowd join in from time to time and echo some classic lyrics across the lake. The love the audience showed to the band was reciprocated by them coming back not once, not twice but three times despite the numbness that was crawling up their digits.
Simon says this weekend was one wholesome way to tell Mom “We Love You”!
