2021 Grateful Deadheads Weekend
2021 Grateful Deadheads Weekend
Friday night of Grateful Deadheads Weekend saw a few blessings. To start Amy supplied a personal giant Skeleton for decorations. Next, Bill Lunny, who does lights for Steal Your Face, was gracious enough to offer his equipment and services for the Friday night band. Finally, Touch of Grey blessed us with another one of their many great performances at The Great Divide. As returning performers, they lived up to expectations and put together an incredible evening of jams for a packed crowd of loving deadheads.
Saturday kept the magic rolling!
There were sightings of an orange Grateful Dead Dancing Bear mascot motoring around on a one wheel. Despite the cold spring weather arts and crafts was both filled with new and old creatives who generated some grateful artworks. Finally, a new to us band came along Steal Your Face and ended the weekend with a memorable melody of long-form jam sessions and excellent odes to the band they cover.
Thank you to all the amazing new faces that melded with a sea of familiar ones to evolve our fun-loving family!
